Overview
 Habitat
for Humanity International (HFHI) is
the largest affordable homebuilder in the
country. Since its inception in 1989, HFHM has operated as the only
non-profit provider of affordable homeownership in Matthews, NC. Habitat
homeowners fulfill 400 “sweat equity” hours by working on their own
build site and neighboring sites. After the sweat equity program, HFHM
offers our partner families a zero-interest home-loan with no down
payment.
Habitat for
Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing
ministry. The Habitat program strives to bring affordable housing to
those who are ineligible for conventional financing.
