Youth Volunteering
Habitat for Humanity of Matthews welcomes
youth who are interested in participating in the building and
sponsorship process. Youth under the age of 16 are not able to build,
however, they may still play an important part in furthering our
mission. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Crys
Davenport.
*Please note that all youth who wish to
participate in construction activities must have a
liability waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Youth are also not allowed to operate
power tools or work from a height higher than 6 feet, but are able to
actively participate in every other facet of building a home.
